Each Guardian Character represents an aspect of Amu’s true self. Ran represents Amu’s desire to be more honest and athletic, Miki represents Amu’s desire to be more level headed and artistic, Su represents Amu’s desire to be more caring and improve her domestic skills, while Diamond represents Amu’s desire to shine in front of others and be a good speaker and singer.

Reason of creation:
For me Amu describes how I felt at elementary school. Being unsure and wanted to exlore my true self, so I love to portray the artistic side of this character “Amulet Spade”! And I really like Miki!
I used the patterns from the top of a dress which I modiefied and made the pattern for the collar myself.
For the pant I used the pattern of a simple hotpant.
The overknee-socks are made from white and blue socks which I cutted and sewed together.
I used organza for the big bow on the back and the ruffles on the sleeves.
The hat and pants are made out from cotton and the rest is made from synthetic fabric.
The boots are standard brown boots, I only chanced the laces.
The big brush is entirely made from paper maché and a stick.
The wig is a pink wig I cutted and styled and sewed the hat on it.
Conclusion about this creation:
A really fun costume to make, I liked to experiment with the ruffles. I joined a big group at the convetion and was having tons of fun! A nice costume to wear in the summer.
